Fewer, closer to your subject
A release reaches you because it matches subjects you cover. That is the whole mechanism — the point is that what arrives is worth the seconds it takes to read.
For journalists
Pressmatch sends press releases to the journalists who cover the subject, instead of to everyone with a byline. You decide what those subjects are for you — and you can see the list.
See your subjects →We are in beta and still getting things wrong. If something about you is off, correcting it takes a minute and helps us more than you would think.
We hold your name, your employer, the subjects you appear to cover and contact details you have published professionally. It comes from public editorial sources — mastheads, bylines and staff pages — not from you, which is why the law says we have to tell you it exists.
What we do with it is narrow: match a release to the people whose subjects it fits. The full description of what we store and for how long is in the privacy policy, and it is the document that governs, not this page.

Your articles are not training material for us, and nothing you write ends up teaching a model.
We do not sell your contact information. Pressmatch is a press release service, not a contact database.
The data sits in the EU, and so does the AI processing we do.
Sign in to the portal with a link to your work address — no password, nothing to remember. Three things are yours to set:
If you would rather just be removed, say so and we will do it — the portal has the button, and so does privacy@pressmatch.io.
Tell us. We would rather hear it from you than have you filter us out — that helps neither of us.
